Russia became its enemy

They were never the best of friends

Catastrophe is how this ends

The US roared satanic boasts

Insanity was diagnosed

Russia was sure to defend 

For their survival they’d contend

And NATO’s thinking was unsound

Russia had the moral high ground 

The West was just so moronic

To tempt missiles hypersonic

As the U.S. forces moved in

Putin’s first launch might be Berlin

This onus the West now shouldered

As the Brandenburg Gate smoldered

Russia had to get to the root

And now their subs would have to shoot

‘Twas the U.S. who started the war

‘Ice Cream Joe’ is a construct and creation of the globalists or ‘new world order’. The visual of an elderly ‘gentleman’ eating an ice cream cone in the presence of the globalist media on a regular basis is to lull the population into a delusion that this is the harmless, although erratic, leadership behavior for the good of America.

This is not a partisan political statement. If one objectively looks at the state of the resident of the United States just during the last week in Italy or on the grounds of the White House one has to honestly conclude that someone else is running the executive branch of the country whose flag is ‘old glory’.

It is those who devised the construct of ‘Ice Cream Joe’ who are now backing Russia into a corner that cannot be construed as anything else but an existential threat to that country and its people.

The ‘mainstream media’ is spinning the narrative that Russia is to blame for what is going on in Ukraine when in fact they (Russia) are repelling an enemy from its borders who wishes to annihilate them. 

The conflict was started when the US fomented the ‘Color’ (Maidan) Revolution in the Ukraine in 2014. This was expounded on in the recent Tucker Carlson interview of Vladimir Putin (go to the 48:30 point of the interview for this information).

How do you protest a failing fiat currency, the United States Dollar, if you are a major economic power and have (or had) control over the economic hegemony of the world that is now collapsing… start World War III!

Neither Stan Szymanski nor Jack Lawson, are apologists for Putin nor are we Russophiles. But we must examine the facts as they are in light of the existential threat that is now imminent for the United States of America.

Troops, missiles, supplies and actions are now crossing all of the redlines that Russia has clearly defined in its right claim to exist and resist extermination by those who constructed ‘Ice Cream Joe’ to provide cover for their quest to subjugate the entire world.

Russians subs are now in the waters off of the coast of America. The Russians have ‘hypersonic’ nuclear missiles of which the U.S. has no answer for. Putin has exercised incredible restraint thus far but the U.S., NATO and the West just keep pressing the Russian border with no let up. The West has apparently scuttled attempts at peace talks.

The citizens of the United States are now in the situation of an inescapable terrible nuclear threat IMHO in our humble opinion.And the mostly innocent citizens of America have an immediate need to know what they might consider doing to survive a true Civil Defense crisis.

This is the timely reason for this writing.

I (Stan Szymanski) am not any kind of expert on the matter of Civil Defense (This writing is not specific advice to anyone but for informational purposes only). Thankfully, there is someone we can ask their opinion of what he would do who has devoted a large part of his life to service and has very significant experience in the realm of Civil Defense.

His name is Jack Lawson.

Jack has served in the United States Air Force as a missile guidance and SAFO nuclear arming controls electronic technician and the Foreign Legion in Africa as a member of an airborne rapid deployment force in a guerrilla war. He has written and published many essays and other books including The Slavers Wheel, And We Hide From The Devil, In Defense and of course Civil Defense Manual Volumes 1 and 2.

Stan: Jack-Our ‘Wargaming’ writings highlighted the facts and gave the reader the derived intelligence to understand the breadth, depth and immediacy of this ‘once in history’ type of event. So much has happened on the world stage since we penned the Wargaming articles just a few months ago. Regarding the average person surviving a nuclear event, can you share your relevant career experience and its significance?

My career experience leads me to know more about Nuclear Weapons and their effects than the average person. I am not an expert, but capitalize the word “Nuclear” because of the frightening respect I have for this weapon. This is a huge subject to cover as there are many variables.

After advanced electronics training in the American Air Force, I was assigned to Air Defense Command, I was given training in Nuclear Weapons arming procedures and studied broad ranging information on Nuclear Bombs and their explosive and lingering effects, in addition to my specialty as a missile guidance technician.

Nuclear Weapon arming was connecting the input sensors from the BOMARC ground to air missile in a “Safe, Orderly and Professional Manner” (in other words don’t damage anything or set the bomb off) to the SAFO arming package. The SAFO arming package was a pretty purple dyed, odd shaped aluminum box that sat adjacent to the “Bomb” and that triggered the Nuclear Weapon to explode, when all necessary inputs were present and the control command was given.

This Nuclear Bomb was a Fission/Fusion bomb… some of the old Thermonuclear ‘dirty bombs.’ The Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs were ‘Atomic Bombs,’ which was Fission only. The bomb I was around was a Hydrogen Bomb, AKA “Thermonuclear” bomb, the most powerful at that time and some 1,000 times more powerful than the Atom Bomb. Our missile squadron, the 74th ADMS, was part of the North American Aerospace Defense, NORAD. Our base had 28 BOMARC ground to air missiles interconnected with the NORAD system, which was the early warning system that watched the “Over the North Pole through Canada down to the United States” route the Russian bombers would take when attacking the United States. The BOMARC was designed to destroy them in the northern territories of Canada.

Of course, this Nuclear explosion would be high altitude, after the missile had been launched at the bombers attacking the United States. The explosion was designed to be at the precise position and time desired for maximum effect on destroying the greatest cluster of the swarm of bombers attacking as possible. Our enemy at this time during the “Cold War” was the Soviet Russians. Communists. We later defeated them in most areas of the world, so they moved to Washington, D.C. and started eating a lot of Ice Cream and calling each other “Comrade” (Cynical Joke).

Jack, explain what you might see as a likely chain of events to come at this point?

Even though Russia is no longer the old Soviet Union… they’re still being portrayed as the same enemy we had during the “Cold War... “Bad Guys,” which I don’t think if really fair or logically justifiable. Neither do I see Putin as a “Good Guy”. After all, he was a Russian Secret Policeman (KGB)-pretty brutal characters. But I don’t see that the Russians have aspirations more than doing business and making money; certainly not taking over Europe. After all, why would they want all the resource consuming immigrants-most of them with no marketable skills now living in Europe… I’m sure they have enough other problems at home to deal with.

My Friend the late Colonel Sully H. deFontaine, Special Forces Green Beret who I wrote a book about called “The Slavers Wheel,” was at one time the head of the CID in Berlin. The CID was the Criminal Investigation Division of the U.S. Army. He arrested Putin as a spy in West Germany in the 80s and interrogated him for hours. Another American Special Forces soldier had noticed, from his Berlin apartment window, a man dressed in a German Postal Worker’s uniform walking down the sidewalk carrying a mail bag but curiously not delivering any mail. Seeing him again, this Green Beret followed him and discovered he was delivering supplies and such to an apartment.

The soldier contacted the CID and they discovered the apartment was used by the Russian KGB. They put the apartment and “Mail Man” under surveillance and arrested him shortly thereafter. The man admitted he was a KGB spy and gave his name as Vladimir Putin. Colonel deFontaine said that during the interrogation, Putin was so engaging to his team of interrogators that Sully and his men actually began to like him, despite Putin’s immediate confession that he was a KGB spy.

Putin had everyone in the room laughing at jokes and he created an image of himself as a “small fish” and insignificant in the world of espionage. Colonel deFontaine gained an immediate respect for Putin and told me that Putin was far from anybody’s fool. Neither was Sully… but Putin had tricked them. Since they’d received no instructions from the Intelligence Agencies they’d notified of the arrest, the Army CID did a swap of Putin a couple of days later for an American spy the East Germans were holding.

Then other Intelligence Agencies then heard about the trade and were furious over the swap. What Putin didn’t tell Sully or the CID, was that Putin was the Director of the Russian KGB in East Germany, not just a low-level spy and the other agencies were asleep at the switch during Putin’s arrest and interrogation. So, I need no further convincing that Vladimir Putin is no one’s fool. I believe he is to the point, intelligent, realistic and focused. I further believe he doesn’t bluff and he sees his actions as protecting his country.

I think the United States would have the same reaction as the Russians, if we were in their shoes. No doubt we would be attacking and invading Mexico if the Russians or Chinese put Nuclear weapons and missile/aircraft/artillery delivery systems for them in Mexico… dangerously close to the United States border.

To substantiate this we need to take a look at the ‘Cuban Missile Crisis.’ What was not disclosed during President Kennedy’s Cuban Missile Crisis was that we’d put Nuclear tipped Jupiter Missiles in Italy and Turkey, right across the border from Russia. These were one reason Chairman Khrushchev and the Russians put missiles in Cuba, and the US secretly agreed to remove our Jupiter Nuclear tipped missiles as part of the peace agreement. A secret agreement not to disclose the removal of our missiles, made it look like the Russians backed down. The Russians ‘Blinked’…as President Kennedy said. In reality, the Russians hadn’t backed down.

We have basically the same issue now… a ‘New Cuban Missile Crisis.’ Now we have Biden, who is no Kennedy… and instead of Khrushchev, they have Putin… who will not ‘blink’ in our present situation.

I believe that preemptive Nuclear deterrent was the Russian motivation for their invasion of the Ukraine. That, along with massacres of some 14,000 Russians in the eastern parts of Ukraine by the Azov Neo Nazi battalions since 2014 (more on Azov here). The Russians have made many attempts, from what I have read, to bring a peaceful end to this war, to keep the threat of foreign powers away from their borders and to bring Russian areas of the Ukraine back under their control.

The Ukraine historically has been part of Mother Russia… even when “Father Stalin” of Mother Russia was starving the Ukrainians to death during the Holodomor. Look that word up. An estimated 4 million to 12 million  Ukrainians and Russians starved to death. My understanding is that the West refuses to negotiate a peace. They’re still “Poking the Bear.” We’ll end up with hundreds of thousands of dead Americans and Europeans in the Ukraine in addition to the estimated 1,600,000 Ukrainians and Russians (at least 500,000 since inception of ‘special military operation in 2022) dead since 2014. What a waste!

Everyone waves a flag, chants the patriotic slogans and wants to go to war, until they’ve seen the dead bodies… and parts thereof… littering the landscape. Horror. Then that flag waving thirst for war and violence abruptly, quietly and shamefully disappears. I believe before the use of Nuclear Weapons by the Russians… they will use Thermobaric Bombs. The Russians have made enormous strides in development of the Thermobaric explosive device. They have even developed a ground warfare “squad sized’ Thermobaric explosive for use in their prolific RPG Launcher (Rocket Propelled Grenade).

The Russians will go out of their way to explain to the world that the explosion they are going to make is not the result of a small Nuclear Weapon. The reason why is that this aerosol fuel explosive weapon can be mistaken for a small Nuclear explosion. But no one will hear the Russians explanation of Conventional Weapon’s use. The West will say that it was a Nuclear explosion. Disinformation… a sugar-coated word for “The Big Lie” like we’ve been fed for two years like “The Ukrainians have just about defeated the Russians.” Which is a lie… they’ve (the Ukraine) all but packed up their tent and left.

The Thermobaric Non-Nuclear Bomb uses a highly flammable low flashpoint aerosol liquid. After the first small explosion… that saturates the air with highly flammable aerosol liquid for hundreds of yards around this bomb… the bomb main charge explodes and ignites the fuel drenched air. The Thermobaric Bomb is a close cousin to a Nuclear Explosion, minus the Nuclear fission, fusion and deadly radiation.

I’ll give you a short description of my experience watching a Thermobaric Bomb explosion. I’m one of a handful of humans who have witnessed that explosion who is alive to talk about it.

Short of Tactical Nuclear Weapons, the Thermobaric Bomb is one of the most devastating conventional warfare weapons. I saw it in action on a bright, sunny, cloud scattered day in Africa. I was an “almost too close to the explosion as an ‘eye witness’ to the use of a Thermobaric Bomb.

Code named ‘Spider,’ like a spider in a web above you, the jet pilots kept radioing me the warning that they had only about 15 minutes fuel left, as I had the VHF radio. Then, shortly later after cleared to attack, one pilot told me something to the effect of “Stay tuned in… Cover your ears and watch this Mate!” His jet then disappeared into a patch of clouds and returned in a sharp dive, then leisurely pulled out of it. I saw the bomb as he dropped it into the terrorist area.

Suddenly a parachute deployed from the bomb and I could clearly see a long lanyard like rope hanging from the bomb. As it slowly drifted down, I watched this entire explosion as the lanyard stopped and triggered the first explosion some twenty or thirty meters above the ground.

I have never witnessed an explosion like that… actually two of them. I was up the side of a hill about looking down on from where the bomb detonated. The ‘Krumpf’ of the first explosion was small and you could see it was spraying aerosol fuel everywhere above the palm trees.

Then the real explosion took place… I’ll never forget the intense light of the explosion and the shock wave, that you could clearly see radiating and coming towards us because of the humidity. It shook the holy hell out of the trees and us, created a hurricane wind sucking air past us towards the explosion. The explosion was deafening and bright as a white star. It actually made a mushroom cloud like a Nuclear explosion and probably flattened everything within a half mile of impact.

You have never seen an explosion… until you’ve seen a Thermobaric Weapon detonate.

The US and NATO have pushed Russia into an existential crisis which may likely result in one or more Nuclear exchanges. I hear that much of American nukes are many decades old and have never been physically tested-only tested in computer models. What is the state of each of the U.S. and Russian nuclear arsenals? Would other countries enter the fray once the exchange starts?

Readers must understand that outside of the Nuclear testing done decades ago, much about the real effects of Thermo Nuclear Weapons is THEORY. What happened from the Atom Bomb explosions in Japan, we know. But Nuclear Explosion effects and characteristics of Thermonuclear bombs, we do not know or fully understand. Nor do we fully know the reality of the deterioration, longevity has had of our Nuclear Arsenal. Little testing has taken place by us in the last three decades and the United States has been stagnant or has gone backwards in Nuclear Weapon development, production and testing. The Russians are clearly way ahead of us in the Nuclear War arena.

The Pakistanis, Israelis, Indians and a few other countries, especially the Russians, Chinese and North Koreans have gone full speed the other direction. They have designed and built bigger, more efficient and higher yield yet more compact Nuclear Weapons. Their arsenals are full of fresh, new and more powerful Nuclear Weapons that they will not hesitate to use to protect themselves. They have further invested trillions of dollars into civil defense for their people, while we stopped our civil defense program under Jimmy Carter.

There is no such bomb described as a ‘Tactical Nuclear Weapon,’- they’re ALL NUCLEAR WEAPONS. Just like Pandora’s Box of mythical lore… once it’s opened and a ‘Tactical Nuclear Weapon’ is used, you can’t put what comes out… back into Pandora’s Box. The same with a mutual Nuclear exchange… Tactical or 1 Megaton. Once it starts it will be impossible to stop. Part of Nuclear training was the types of detonations, the fireball and blast radius and the after effects of a Nuclear detonation like ‘Radioactive Rain’ and ‘Radioactive Fall Out.’

The world lived under the Nuclear MAD Doctrine during this time in the Cold War. MAD stands for Mutual Assured Destruction. Insanity! I believe we still have enough Nuclear bombs worldwide to turn planet Earth into a blackened, smoldering, lifeless cinder orbiting the Sun. This schooling left me extremely depressed and gave me new respect for that pretty epoxy white painted bomb that I put my fatigue jacket over and sat on many times for hours. Like the best advice for MAD at the time was… ‘Bend over and kiss your tail end goodbye’ because it would be the end of human and other life. Period.

I watched the movie Oppenheimer last night, about the development of the first Atom Bomb. Clearly, cooler more rational thinking people were in charge back then. Limited Nuclear War is now survivable, unless it progresses to and all out ‘dump’ of all Nuclear bombs between superpowers. I don’t believe that is what will happen but that’s difficult to tell because Western Leadership has a “Burn down the house if we lose it to foreclosure’ attitude. Western Leadership is absolutely disconnected from reality and acts with an almost suicidal intent. They are losing their financial foundation of the dollar as the controlling currency in their quest for a “One World Order” and are acting erratically and without logic.

If we fully engage the Russians or Chinese, NATO and American forces will get walked right through, leaving thousands of dead. There is no way the United States can fight a two-front war… helping defend Taiwan and getting involved in the Ukraine. Contrary to what has been said by our military leadership, who may as well be high on Crack Cocaine.

Then there’s the Middle East. We have neither the man power, strength, stamina, technological advantage, logistics or military superiority we’ve had in the past. Nor do our allies. We’ve depleted our military supplies by giving them to the Ukraine. What-American artillery units are supposed to support American and NATO troops with supporting artillery fire!? How, they have maybe a week’s supply of shells… the Ukraine has fired them all!

We have no defense against hypersonic missiles, which both the Russians and Chinese have in abundance. The West has no such missile and has failed miserably in trying to develop one. Despite that, we further have no defense against these hypersonic missiles, whether they have a massive Thermonuclear warhead, thermobaric warhead, or conventional warhead.

England cannot use their Nuclear Weapons because they are directly controlled by the United States. We have never trusted the British with Nuclear Weapons. Maybe it’s something about ‘Jolly Olde England’ the United States distrusts about their weird spelling. I mean ‘tire’ is ‘tyre’ …by Jove, go figure old Chap!

Other countries like France will HAVE TO join in with a Nuclear Exchange… any one with troops or involved in anyway supplying NATO efforts in the Ukraine and especially attacks with NATO weapons deep inside Russia, will get a call from Vladimir Putin something like this:

‘President Macron… you know that city Lille, just north of Paris?’

‘Yes, Valdimir… what about it?’

‘Well, I suggest you evacuate it… because in 48 hours we’re going to level it!’

That will happen with the Germans, British, Swedish, Norwegians and Finnish, amongst others, also.

Can people in the U.S. do anything to escape what you think may be coming?

None of the following will help you if you don’t have Food and Water stored.

Simply get to the center of their house or into their basement and STAY THERE for 2 days to a week. Keep outside air from getting in. Time and distance make the threat of radiation not harmful to you. The LONGER since radiation and the FURTHER from radiation, the safer you are.

The Inverse Square Rule of diminishing radiation over DISTANCE..People can survive simply by shutting off their Air Conditioners and Heating Units, closing windows and doors. Keep outside air (contaminated) from getting into your home. Tape and or stuff rags under and around doors if you can. Move to the center of your largest room with a four-gallon supply of water per person, food, blankets, non-electric games and books and a pail for a toilet.

By the Inverse Square Law, a radiation level outside your window that is deadly and penetrates into your area will progressively reduce to 25% each one foot it travels. 1000 Roentgens traveling one-foot drops to 250 Roentgens at the one-foot mark… then to 62.5 Roentgens at two-foot from your window… to less than 16 Roentgens at three-foot… to about 4 Roentgens at four-foot from your walls or windows.

The Seven Ten Rule of diminishing radiation over TIME

In addition to the Inverse Square Rule of diminishing radiation over DISTANCE… there is the Seven Ten Rule of diminishing radiation over TIME.

By the Seven Ten Rule, for every sevenfold increase in time after the initial blast, there is a tenfold decrease in the radiation rate. For example, a 500 rad level can drop to 50R in just 7 hours and down to 5R after 2 days (49 hours). In other words, if you have shelter that stops radioactive air from getting into your shelter and you stay put for just 7 hours … you’ve really increased your chances of survival.

I had one seriously confused man made a spurious comment comparing Chernobyl to what I said about hunkering down to survive. He didn’t understand that Nuclear Explosion Radiation is different from a Nuclear Radiation Leak.

I compare Radiation to a pail of gasoline exploding and burning up in the process… versus the gas leaking out of the pail into the ground. The explosion is a blast and the leak is contamination. The leak contamination lasts a long time, but the explosion may kill or injure within close proximity. Outside the blast area you are affected little from the fallout if you shelter and wait for the radiation to “burn up,” or what is really happening to it… it is “decaying” into harmless form.

This is why Chernobyl will not be livable for hundreds of years… Radiation LEAK. However, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan were reoccupied a few weeks after an Atomic EXPLOSION.

The first, Chernobyl… Radiation is LEAKING from concentrated amounts…

The second, Hiroshima and Nagasaki… there is no radiation as it was destroyed as part of each Explosion.

So, when it comes down to the issue of survival at the individual and family level for Americans what are the things that people can do -right now- to increase their chances of survival?

The Human Race is amazing, Stan… constantly making great strides in more efficiently killing off each other, huh?

The present-day Nuclear Weapons are what I call ‘Green Bombs’ or ‘Environmentally Friendly’ as I cynically and jokingly call them, in a dark and macabre manner. They are way more powerful compared to what I worked on. However, depending on the altitude at which they are detonated, they put off way less radioactive material and fall out. Nuclear weapons are now designed to be focused, highly effective and surgically precise for the strike capability and purpose they are intended for.

For example, one of the most dangerous aspects of a nuclear exchange is the use of the ‘Electro-Magnetic Pulse’ (EMP or HEMP) prior to the ground blast strike. The ‘Electro-Magnetic Pulse’ occurs every time a Nuclear explosion occurs. However, nuclear bombs have been designed solely for the Electro-Magnetic Pulse and concentrated specifically for that damage are now in existence. A series of them will be set off over the United States and other countries being attacked before dropping the bombs that hit ground targets.

That weapon is designed just for EMP/HEMP as an air burst you won’t see, hear or feel. The bomb is detonated 250 kilometers above ground. It unleashes massive amounts of energy designed to destroy every electronic semi-conductor, which includes transistors and chips in the area of earth below it. Tell me what you have that has semi-conductors in it. Or simpler, what DOESN’T have a chip, transistor, LED or semi-conductor in it that you depend on daily? Everything.

In light of what the possibilities are, if anyone wants to be with the Lord Jesus in heaven for eternity they need to accept Him as their Lord (Jesus is on the throne of their life-not them) and Savior (the atoning death of Jesus on the cross was sufficient to atone for their sins in the eyes of God the Father). They must also repent of their sins. If the bright light of Oppenheimer’s deadly toy flashes across their eyes before they sincerely ask Jesus into their heart, it will be too late. Jesus Himself spoke of the fact that there is no -in between- place between Heaven and Hell. You end up in one place or the other. Choose now.

In conclusion-what would you like to impart as a final thought to readers of this incredibly difficult subject to talk about?

Can any of your Readers answer this question, Stan… why aren’t Americans being given free dental and vision? What was all this commotion about how great Obamacare was going to be?

I recently saw a very pretty woman with a front tooth missing and very self-conscious about it. I doubt she has the money to fix it, as it runs into the thousands of dollars.

Yet we’re giving 160 Billion to the Cocaine Cowboy Zelenskyy in the Ukraine, which is of what value to the United States? Answer… ZERO. Spend 10 Billion to fix American’s teeth. Spend 10 billion to fix American’s vision.
