Thank you Rural King For Honoring Jesus, The Soon Coming King

I was quite upset when I received emails going into and during this weekend getting numerous offers of different goods for an ‘Easter Sale’. It just seems to me that Easter (‘Resurrection Day’) should be a time where we turn our thoughts to the incredible, unfathomable work that Jesus did on the cross to pay our sin debt and three days later, rising from the grave in victory to give us everlasting life.

I got an email this Easter morning from Rural King simply stating:

Happy Easter!

He is not here; He us risen! (Luke 24:6 NIV)

We’ve made the decision to close our stores on Easter. We have done this to give our associates time to spend with their Faith & Families as they choose.

Thank you for being part of the Rural King Family. Happy Easter and God Bless!

It’s been a minute since I’ve been to Rural King. I am going to make a point of going to RK soon. They deserve our patronage for being a big company and openly honoring The Lord. I hope that a few more companies will be impacted to have a change in leadership leading to a change in corporate policy to reflect the significant portion of America who wants to do business with companies that reflect our values as we strive to be like Christ in our daily walk.

Good on you Rural King.
